Respected Chapainawabganj residents, Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah. Best wishes and congratulations to all of you. The greatest achievement of the Bengali nation was the great independence of Bangladesh. Through the great war of liberation in 1971 under the leadership of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the greatest Bengali nation of all time, we got a national flag, national anthem and above all an independent sovereign Bangladesh. Today is the fiftieth anniversary of the independence of our beloved motherland Bangladesh. The golden jubilee of sacrifice, pride and joy. At the same time, the 100th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation, the architect of independent Bangladesh. Today is a day of great pride and joy for us.

Congratulations and best wishes to the people of Chapainawabganj on this auspicious occasion of history. I remember with utmost respect the warrior freedom fighters, heroines and living freedom fighters, including the heroic freedom fighters who were martyred in the war of liberation. To the four leaders, Captain Mohiuddin Jahangir, the heroic martyr lying on the ground of this district, Major Nazmul Haque and other heroic freedom fighters.

As you are aware, we are moving forward in irresistible progress to make our name in the developed world. Our target is now developed Bangladesh by 2041. Although the development activities of the whole world were hampered due to the infection of Kovid 19, under the strong and wise leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, Padma Bridge, Metro Rail, state-of-the-art Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Rooppur Nuclear Power Station, Rampal Power Station, Payra Deep Sea Port , Huge development master plan including Karnafuli tunnel is being implemented successfully, already every house in Bangladesh is getting electric light. Which is a brilliant manifestation of the efforts of the Bengalis inspired by the motto of independence. In the course of development of Bangladesh, extensive development work has started in Chapainawabganj district, the former capital of Gaur. In the meantime, action plans have been formulated to modernize Sonamasjid, one of the land ports of the country. Initiatives have been taken around Bill Bhatia to establish a modern agro-based economic zone, which will help revolutionize agriculture and industry in the region. A rubber dam is being constructed on the river Mahananda, Sheikh Hasina Bridge has been constructed on the river Mahananda. The modern Sadar Hospital has been upgraded to a 250-bed hospital. Intercity train communication has been introduced with the rest of the country as a development of rail communication. Aesthetic passport building, youth development building, buffer warehouse etc. have been constructed in this district. Construction work of 6 model mosques is nearing completion. Modern quality mango market has been built. Khirsapat produced by you in the capital of mango has gained international fame as the third GI product of the country. A total of 5895 people are being given old age allowance, 21656 people are being given widow and husband abused women allowance, 25160 people are being given disability allowance, 69 people are being given maternity allowance and 9208 people are being given assistance under 40 days program. Houses including 1369 lands have been provided for the homeless, construction of 146 houses is in progress. Housing will be constructed for every homeless person in this district this year. A comprehensive action plan has been taken to revive the lost culture, folk songs, gambhiras, alkaps, jhandis, sports, etc. of Chapainawabganj district.

Padma, Mahananda, Punarbhaba and Pagla Bidhaut and the green land of history, tradition and culture, the capital of mango is Chapainawabganj district. The maternity ward of the silk industry, the bronze industry, the beautiful Nakshi Kantha, the beautiful antiquities of Bangladesh, the small Sonamasjid, the Tahkhana, the green land of nature, Babuding, Chapainawabganj have made it unique in the whole country. However, drug addiction, drug smuggling, child marriage and militancy have become a curse for this border district. We want your cooperation in preventing these problems that are hindering our development progress. Chapainawabganj district can be a model district of Bangladesh if everyone can stand against all these social ills. Your valuable participation in the journey of the developed world under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is highly desirable. In the spirit of the war of liberation, non-communal Bangladesh will be an ideal land for our children. We will be united in every progress of the country against any conspiracy of evil forces. As a proud Bengali in Golden Bangladesh, let's work in the chariot of victory of 2041 with absolute determination; Let's move forward in the spirit of victory. Our war of liberation, our victory, our beloved red-green flag, composed with great pain, infinite courageous resistance and absolute compassion.
